Another week gone by....
Another week has gone by with no news status change for Karuna's passport. We were really hoping that the grievance would light a fire under someone's behind. One of the other families that have been waiting longer than we have got some good news, their child's passport is being printed!!! This is great news and hopeful that ours and the other remaining family will soon see the same movement for our passports.
Maurice and I have made a decision to wait until spring break to goo to India even if Karuna's passport is done earlier. Jessica really wants to go and the school is about to throw a fit because we want to take her out of school for 2 weeks. So if we go at spring break she would only miss 4 days instead of 10. This will be a trip of a lifetime for her and I think Karuna will enjoy spending time with Jess there.
Well, that's all the news I have for now. Crossing fingers and toes. Praying for good news in the next couple weeks!!

I think you made a wise decision in waiting so that Jess can go, too. Hopefully we will hear something good very soon!!!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you hear something this week -- this is pure agony. What a great thing to have the whole family go . . . it truly will be the trip of a lifetime!
ReplyDeletePraying for news,
Nancy

I am thrilled that Jess will get to go with you! What a wonderful time for all of you! Prayers they get this darn passport done sooner than later! So very excited for you!
ReplyDeleteHugs and God bless!
Yes, I hope the printing of that one passport means that the printer is warmed up and ready for the others! I just don't understand the schools sometimes. How can a true life changing event in another country be more important than class room time? Oh well, good decision to wait so that the stress is off of her a bit to enjoy the "other" educational time in India.
