It's hard to believe that it has been 2 months since we were told that the judge awarded us guardianship of Karuna. We just found out today that the papers have been typed and signed by the second judge(replacing the first one)!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEE
It gets better...the orphanage has taken the paperwork to the passport office and his passport is applied for. This is our final step and we will be heading to INDIA!!!! I never thought it was going to happen but with a little pushing from our agency social worker in India, things are finally moving in the right direction for the 3 remaining families.
Last Monday was Karuna's 8th birthday. We got the chance to skype with hin ob his special day. The internet connection was really slow on their end so he could see us but we couldnt see him. At least we were able to hear his voice and that for us was priceless :-)

I'm so glad that your agency continued to advocate for you! Congratulations! Prayers for a speedy passport so you can finally hold that boy in your arms!

Come on passport! At least now movement can be pushed along a bit and not like the uncontrollable fate of the courts! Yippee!! What a great early Christmas gift this is!
