WE HAVE WRITTEN GUARDIANSHIP

This morning we received an email from our adoption agency. After months of waiting since we received our verbal guardianship so many things have happened. The judge that did award us the verbal left the family courts and didn't sign our paperwork along with the other 2 families that were waiting. SO they gave it to the next judge and she said she didn't know anything about adoption law and would not sign our papers!! GRRR Our orphange finally made an appeal to the High Courts in Madurai and they said that since the approval had already been given, the lower court judge had to sign our papers within 2 weeks, NO QUESTIONS ASKED!! This morning the email we received told us that indeed the judge had signed the papers!!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. JOH should receive a copy late next week or early the following week. THe orphanage will be applying for his passport soon and we are praying that this part will go quickly for us and our children will be home for the holidays.
