Still waiting!!
It's been 6 weeks today that we received our verbal guardianship and still no written papers have been issued. We did hear from our adoption agency and Karuna's case is supposed to be heard next week and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will be the end of the guardianship phase for us and the other 2 families that are also waiting. It looks like now it will be late October to late November before we will be traveling...bummer. Was really hoping that we wouldn't have to take Jess out of school for 2 weeks but oh well. Starting to see a light at the end of that very long tunnel we have been in for soooooo long.

ReplyDeleteWe will have them home before we know it, Teresa! After this long wait, it is finally almost over, and then we can have our new beginning! And how exciting that our cases are scheduled so close together, and all three families may even be in India together! How amazing would that be!
