It's been almost a month since I last posted that the license for the orphanage had been signed and we are STILL waiting for our NOC. We were told that CARA was looking at the Grace Kennett cases before the license was renewed so we thought the NOC's would come quickly. WRONG!! A couple weeks ago CARA decided to call a meeting to discuss new guidelines for the orphanages so that took 2 weeks out of issuing NOC's. All of us are very frustrated and want our children to come home. Please pray that we hear some good news soon and that our cases will go through the courts quickly as well.
Praying that things start moving. I know how hard this has to be for you all.God has a plan but it is still hard to wait when your child is on the other side of the world.What kind of things have you bought for him? When we were waiting for Kaitrin I would buy something every week--sometimes just a small toy or book,an item of clothing even if it just was something from a yard sale.It helped me out to imagine them using it.He is precious and I am so happy for you all.I hope this comes through with using anonymous because it wouldn't let me use my google account.

So sorry to hear of more delays! I don't know how you keep such a stiff upper lip. I know once the flood gates of CARA open the rest of your journey will fly.

Just came across your blog...so sorry about your delay. We are adopting from Indi* also...and are unsure what to expect with the changes CARA is making. But we're praying!
ReplyDeleteOh Teresa . . . the heartache of waiting goes on. I was hoping and praying that the CARA stuff wouldn't affect you since you were already matched with Karuna. So sorry to hear that you're stalled out because of it.
