I know it's been awhile since I posted but I have had no good news to tell. Since last September when we started waiting for Karuna's NOC we have been stuck in our orphanage domestic adoption license issues. It's been a very frustrating 8 months for us and the other families involved.
Finally yesterday we got an update from our adoption agency telling us that our orphanage finally have all their paperwork in order and that the license should be issued this week. I have mixed feelings right now. On the one hand I'm happy that there may be an end to this mess but on the other hand we have heard the same thing several times over the last few months. I'm not letting my guard down just yet.
Our adoption agency did say that CARA has been looking at all the families paperwork to be prepared to issue NOC's when the license is there. They also told us that they will be contacting some families because there is missing paperwork. I'm praying it's not us.
Please keep all of the families in your prayers.

At last some news. It seems hopeful to me. I am hoping and praying that this is the final delay and all of your paperwork is correct.
