We got another update yesterday from JOH telling us that Grace Kennett's paperwork for their domestic adoption license was being reviewed(still) and that they hope the director will sign the license. Then we have to wait for it to get to CARA so our NOC can be issued. This has been a very long a frustrating step for all the families involved. We are trying our best to be patient but this paperwork/signature part has been nothing but a viscous circle that seems to have no end.
Thanks so much for your support and prayers. We do have some good family news. WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!! Yes, after 7 long years of renting we finally decided to take the plunge. We close on the house at the end of this month and start decorating and moving in gradually in the month of May. Now if we could just get Karuna home to help us share this exciting time of our lives.
Congratulations, homeowners! Moving and settling will likely be a welcome distraction to keep you busy while you wait. We are right beside you in the frustration, and will keep praying for movement!
