This winter is painfully slow right now especially when we wait for word of Karuna's NOC. It's been almost 4 months since our paperwork went to CARA and I hope we are getting close to hearing something.
If any of you are on facebook the orphanage where Karuna is has a facebook page. Just search Grace Kennett Foundation. I was so happy to find this page because I got to see Karuna's picture on Christmas day. If you look at the Christmas pictures, he is about the only boy in the children's pictures wearing a black and reddish striped shirt. Hoping to see more pictures as the days go by. We can't wait for him to come home.
This wait is supposed to make things faster in the future, but it sure is hard to be the guinea pigs doing the waiting. Hang in there, Teresa! Praying as you wait to find out about NOC . . .

Nice to know another source for where karuna is. Perhaps chanting noc from India will help.

Hello Teresa, we too wait for NOC. going on 5 months now. i am thinking of you and Karuna, what a handsome boy. Our little girl is almost 4 in Chandigarh. what could possibly be the hold up? I see couples getting NOC in a few weeks. just thought i'd send you note to say we are right there with ya. wishing us both NOC next week, i mean come on, is that too much to ask?
