One year ago today we said goodbye to our little Indian prince, Benjamin. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him and wish he was still here with us. Ben touched so many lives in the short time he was with us. I wish I could see those beautiful brown eyes that shined so brightly, your smile that would light up a room, your infectious little giggle and your warm hugs and kisses.
Ben, you taught me so much about how to live life to the fullest. Such a brave little man. Wise beyond your age. You will always have a special place in my heart. You are now with God, free from the chemo, PICC lines, blood draws and hospitals. Run, play, be a well little boy.
Benjamin, a son, a brother, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, a friend, a student, a scout...our hero. Gone but never forgotten.
LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU!!!
Mommy

Teresa, I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful tribute to your son. I enjoyed your slide show and getting a glimpse into Benjamin's life. It is comforting to know that he is now with God, free from pain, and able to run and play. My thoughts are with you today.

This first year missing Ben must have felt so long and so painful. Your love for him shines in this post. Thinking of you and praying for you as you miss your son.
